Week 11 was one of those weeks where meetings, deadlines, and creative work all seemed to happen at once. I was finishing videos, attending meetings, updating student lists, and also trying to catch up on my blog again after a few months of barely keeping up with it. A lot was happening, but in a good, forward-moving kind of way.

Monday was spent finishing videos and sending the rough cuts to Signe, Tilde, and Illa. I also started transcribing them for the written interviews on the website and updated the Excel list of accepted students. It was a pretty full start to the week, but also satisfying because so many ongoing tasks were finally moving toward completion.

Tuesday began early with a meeting for all international coordinators in Sweden at KMH. I helped show them around campus, joined meetings, had lunch and fika, and generally spent the day connecting with everyone. Later, I updated Illa’s video based on his feedback and worked on my blog, which had been waiting patiently for attention for far too long.

Wednesday included a department meeting, a visit from the former boss Thomas, and saying farewell to Ida, who was going on maternity leave. Alongside that, I kept working on my blog again, which felt like a small but important return to something personal and creative. It was one of those days that mixed professional routines with a few more emotional moments.

Thursday was another busy one, with updates to the Erasmus student list, an Into-film meeting with Shadi about the intro-week film plan, and a planning meeting with George and two other exchange coordinators about his next exchange and traineeship in South Africa. There was also date night after work, which gave the day a nice ending. The shift from meetings to something more personal always helps the week feel more balanced.

Friday was mostly about finishing Illa’s video with the notes he had sent back and keeping the international email up to date. I also checked the replies from students regarding their Erasmus applications, which meant the week ended the way many of these weeks do: with admin, follow-ups, and a lot of little details pulled together. Still, it felt good to be on top of things again.

The weekend brought second-hand shopping and a visit to a small medieval market in Kungsträdgården, along with a look at all the beautiful cherry blossom trees now in bloom. Stockholm really does know how to make spring feel special.
