After a few weeks of settling into a steady rhythm, Week 15 brought a nice mix of finishing things, learning new tricks, and suddenly feeling a little more like I knew what I was doing. Mostly.
Monday, 11th of May, started with my last Swedish class, which honestly felt a little bittersweet. To make it better, we had a guest speaker talking about music in Sweden, which was such a fitting way to wrap everything up. It felt like a nice final chapter — language learning, music, and a reminder of just how much I’ve picked up along the way.
Tuesday was very different, but just as interesting. I spent part of the day filming B-roll in the library for the intro-week film, which made me feel a little bit like a proper behind-the-scenes person.

Alice also showed me a much more efficient way to book several groups for the same course in TimeEdit, which was a very welcome discovery. On top of that, she forwarded me some course bookings to handle myself, so the day ended up being a good mix of filming and practical work.
Wednesday was a half-day, but still productive. I met up with Alice to go over the TimeEdit bookings and the issues we’d been having with them. At this point, I’ve accepted that some of my biggest challenges are not the actual bookings themselves, but the permissions needed to make them happen. Still, it was helpful to talk everything through and figure out where the problems were coming from.
Thursday was a holiday, which meant a small but very appreciated break in the middle of the week. Always nice when the calendar decides to be kind.
Friday was the big one: filming the intro-week film with Shadi and Gumru, plus interviews, which made for a long but really exciting day. I somehow ended up acting as co-director and camera person all at once, which was both a lot and very fun. There’s something very satisfying about watching a project slowly come together, especially when you get to be part of both the planning and the filming side of it. By the end of the day, I was tired, but in that good “we actually made something happen” kind of way.

And after such a full week, the rainy weekend was exactly what we needed: we had bought a Switch 2, so we spent it on the sofa playing games like Animal Crossing, Pokopia, and Pokémon Fire-Red as well as adulting (laundry and cleaning). A very different kind of adventure, but just as enjoyable.
All in all, Week 15 was a mix of learning, filming, problem-solving, and a final goodbye to Swedish class — busy, a little chaotic, but definitely a good one.
